**CTG is seeking to fill an APEX Developer opening for our client in Texas.** **Location:** Remote **Duties:** + Design, develop, and enhance features in a custom Oracle APEX application to meet evolving business needs. + Interpret system specifications and collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and met. + Write, optimize, and maintain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL scripts to support application functionality, ensuring efficient and secure data handling. + Manage and optimize Oracle Database performance to support application reliability and scalability. + Integrate APEX plugins to extend application functionality. + Implement robust data synchronization features for daily uploads from existing systems into the APEX application. + Ensure the application adheres to industry standards, security policies, and best practices for data protection. **Skills:** + Proficiency in Oracle Application Express (APEX) for developing web applications. + Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL for backend programming. + Experience with Oracle Database management and optimization. + Familiarity with integrating APEX plugins to extend application capabilities. + Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development. **Experience:** + 8+ years with web technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS. + 3+ years of hands-on Oracle APEX development experience. + 3+ years working with Oracle SQL and PL/SQL in an application development environment. + 3+ years managing and optimizing Oracle Databases. + 3+ years experience using and integrating APEX plugins. **Education:** + Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience. The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55.00 to $78.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained.
